Key points
- The author says unexpected charges in the collected cases often came from loops, retries, database scans and resources left running, and that the skill turns those lessons into checks for your own project.
- He says the skill reviews configuration and source code read-only, traces paths that can amplify costs, and reports code locations, causes, suggested improvements and references.
- He says it supports Linux, macOS and Windows, needs no Cloudflare account connection or API token, and will not run or modify the project.
- He says it cannot guarantee you will never get a surprise bill, but can help spot evidence-backed risks early and make clear what has not been established.

I’ve open-sourced a Cloudflare billing risk audit skill. While collecting billing cases and cost-management guides for Billflare, I noticed that unexpected charges often came from loops, retries, database scans and resources left running. I built this skill to turn those lessons into checks you can apply to your own project. It helps your coding agent review configuration and source code in read-only mode, trace paths that can amplify costs, and report code locations, causes, suggested improvements and references. It supports Linux, macOS and Windows. No Cloudflare account connection or API token is needed, and it won’t run or modify your project. It can’t guarantee you’ll never get a surprise bill, but it can help you spot evidence-backed risks early and make clear what hasn’t been established. https://t.co/Hon7JqrUGF
